After the broadcast, two men contacted Sutang and arranged to meet at an apartment’s underground parking lot to collect the money.
Concerned for his safety, Sutang alerted the police before the meeting.
Upon arrival, the two men assaulted him with a hammer and club.
They then kidnapped Sutang and drove approximately 200 km to Geumsan, South Chungcheong Province.
Police reviewed surveillance footage and successfully apprehended the kidnappers.
