Detailed Instructions & Methodology
Pre-Event (Before 13th October)
- Registration: Register all eligible students and form teams of 3-5 members.
- Outreach & Branding: Play the official Buildathon jingle in school assemblies. Use social media to share jingles, posters, reels, and updates tagging Ministry of Education, AIM, and AICTE. Display banners, posters, and branded merchandise like T-shirts and caps.
- Logistics & Setup: Identify a suitable venue (hall, ATL lab, computer lab, or classroom) with adequate seating, power backup, internet connectivity, projector, sound system, and camera setup for live streaming and interaction. Ensure availability of stationery, tinkering tools, and prototype materials.
- Mentorship: Invite parents, mentors from Atal Innovation Mission’s Mentor India program, local industry professionals, alumni, incubation centers, and higher education institutions to support and guide students.
Event Day (13th October)
- Join the live session via Zoom and YouTube links provided.
- The 120-minute session is divided into four stages:
- Problem Identification (Empathize)
- Critical Thinking (Define)
- Solution Designing (Ideate)
- Refinement (Prototype & Test)
- Students ideate and build prototypes aligned with the themes.
- Encourage teamwork and collaborative environment.
- Record videos of projects and share on social media.
- Mentors and dignitaries will interact with schools during the event.
Post-Event (13th–31st October)
- Students refine and submit their ideas and prototypes via the official portal.
- Two types of submissions:
- Idea Submission: Written document explaining the problem, idea, and solution.
- Prototype Submission: Video demonstration of a tangible prototype along with documentation.
- Ensure videos are accessible for evaluation.
- Continue social media engagement with project highlights.
Evaluation & Awards (November–January)
