Shopee TikTok Shop Lazada Tokopedia," presenter Rio Gandhi discusses essential calculations for online sellers to improve their profitability and manage costs effectively. The video aims to help sellers understand how to calculate their Capital Price (HPP), Selling Price, and Advertising Costs to avoid losses.

Main Financial Strategies and Trends:

• Understanding Capital Price (HPP):
  • Sellers often struggle with calculating their Capital Price due to various costs, including shipping and packaging.
  • It is crucial to accurately estimate costs based on product specifics rather than averaging them out indiscriminately.
• Setting Selling Prices:
  • Emphasis on using percentage-based calculations for profit margins instead of fixed nominal values.
  • Sellers should consider service fees and discounts when determining selling prices to maintain profitability.
• Advertising Cost Management:
  • Acknowledgment that many sellers may find it challenging to calculate Advertising Costs effectively.
  • The video suggests a flexible approach to budgeting for advertising, highlighting that rigid calculations may not be effective for all products.

Step-by-Step Methodology:

• Calculating Capital Price (HPP):
  • Identify individual product costs (e.g., product cost, shipping, packaging).
  • Total these costs to determine the Capital Price for each item.
• Calculating Selling Price:
  • Use the formula: Selling Price = Capital Price x (1 + Desired Profit Percentage)
  • Apply discounts to set the final Selling Price while ensuring profitability after accounting for service fees.
• Calculating Advertising Costs:
  • Determine a budget percentage for advertising based on Selling Price.
  • Calculate Cost Per Click (CPC) using: CPC = Daily Advertising Budget / Conversion Rate
  • Adjust advertising strategies based on product performance and feedback rather than sticking strictly to calculated CPC limits.
