CWR Harvest 2026

Summary of the video

Rick and Vicki lead a “collective worship” centered on Harvest. They begin by chatting about how Vicki has had big changes recently—new job, new house—and the practical problem of having too much stuff for her very small kitchen. They use this as a starting point to reflect on what harvest means: food (tins, fruit, vegetables, pasta), farmers’ work, and thanking God for what is provided.

The farmer hoards rather than gives, and God challenges him.

Rick and Vicki emphasize that Harvest is about more than just collecting food for yourself—it should move people toward gratitude and generosity. They suggest what giving can look like: not only donating tins, but also giving time, help, encouragement, friendliness, and practical tasks (even small acts like doing the washing up).

They close by praying for help to give generously this harvest season, thanking God for the food and asking that people celebrate harvest “in your name.”
