Mujahid Mansoor Malangi With Ukasha Gul | Punjabi Podcast | Roasting, Jokes & Unexpected Confessions

Overview

Ukasha Gul’s lively Punjabi podcast with singer Mujahid Mansoor Malangi moves between teasing, personal stories, and music. Ukasha jokes that she is being roasted on her own show, while Mujahid takes the banter in stride. Their running jokes touch on age, teeth, gym workouts, food, and “curves.” Mujahid says Ukasha is the first person to make him laugh that much.

Stories and Reflections

Mujahid recalls singing from childhood. His song “Banda Banda Badshah” became a hit in 2012 after a performance was recorded and circulated on CDs and YouTube.

He also tells a memorable story from a show in Kotdu. After seeing flashing blue and red lights, he thought the police had come to arrest him, hurried offstage, and went to hide. The officers had actually come to listen to him sing.

The conversation turns to simplicity, money, village life, and the Saraiki, Jhangvi, and Punjabi influences in Mujahid’s speech and music. He expresses gratitude to the audiences who supported him and pushes back against arguments over language. He also reflects on whether his children should pursue singing, responding cautiously to the question of his daughters performing and noting the double standards people apply.

Music

Mujahid sings “Banda Banda Badshah,” pays tribute to the late Mansoor Ali Malangi, and closes with “I’m with you from the bottom of my heart.” The episode ends with warm teasing, laughter, and appreciation for the audience.
