KonAktiv Mobile: Linked-data navigation from record selections

KonAktiv Mobile (Konaktivmobile) introduces a functional enhancement for navigating from a selected list of records to their “linked data.”

Main feature: Linked-data navigation from selections

• You can start with a selection of records (e.g., a filtered “project list”).
• Using the selection controls (e.g., Select all), you can now directly access linked records via a new option/function: “linked data” (specifically mentioned as “linked data projects” in one example).
• This enables users to jump straight to related lists without manual searching.

Example 1: Projects → Invoices

Scenario

• Select projects based on a criterion (example given: client ADV / “ADV” as search criterion).

Workflow

• Open linked data → Invoice.

Result

• You are taken directly to the invoice list corresponding to all selected projects.
• The view can show aggregate information such as the total invoice amount created for those projects.

Example 2: Timesheet/custom time → Projects

Scenario

• From a timesheet, look up employee hours from the last month spent on customer projects, then identify the corresponding projects.

Workflow

• Select all relevant timesheet entries/projects.
• Use “linked data projects.”

Result

• The system finds the relevant projects automatically.
• Users can then continue with follow-up tasks such as billing.

Positioning vs. previous behavior

• The capability already existed on a smaller scale, but previously:
  • It required a keyboard shortcut and was less obvious.
• In the new mobile feature, the linked-data function is automatically available and can be used directly by employees in Konaktivmobile.
