Episode Summary

The episode opens with Sneha comforting Diya in public, holding her hand and kissing her forehead. Payal and Sanvi see them. Payal explains that she isn’t against her mother loving someone; she’s worried that Diya, as a student, may not be right for Sneha and could put her future and career at risk. Sanvi begins to agree, while Kavya overhears and is hurt that Payal is still trying to break the couple up.

Kavya confronts Payal, who flinches when Kavya raises a hand. Kavya is only removing something caught in Payal’s hair, and reassures her that she would never hit someone she loves. Later, Payal brings Kavya coffee and painkillers, then offers the coffee to Diya when she arrives. Their awkward exchange gets a small laugh: Diya asks if Payal is worried about her, and Payal tells her not to make a big deal of it.

After seeing how much Sneha and Diya care for each other, Kavya changes her attitude. She apologizes to Sneha and says she now believes Sneha is the person who can make Payal happy. Kavya also cautions Sneha to be discreet at college, where people might judge their relationship. Sneha promises to be more careful. Kavya’s tender “Bhabhi ji” comment brings Sneha to tears—this time, happy ones.

After class, Payal arranges for Sneha to drive Diya and Sanvi home. The car ride is full of tension and teasing. Sanvi tries to reminisce about her old closeness with Sneha, but Diya cuts in with jokes about Sanvi’s questionable driving skills. After Sanvi gets out, Sneha and Diya flirt about their jealousy, then share a deliberately conspicuous string of kisses because Sneha says someone may be watching. Their playful banter turns into affectionate teasing about being wives and having no reason to look at anyone else.

Meanwhile, Kavya stays by Payal’s side while she fetches medicine for her unwell grandfather. Payal asks why Kavya won’t support her in separating Sneha and Diya. Kavya says she can’t help now that she believes the two belong together. They make up, with Payal apologizing and thanking Kavya for standing by her even when she was angry.

At Sneha and Diya’s apartment, the two joke about keeping a Karwa Chauth fast for each other. Diya accidentally asks whether Sneha once fasted for her ex. Sneha reveals that she waited all day for him, only for him to come home drunk late at night and beat her. Diya stops her from sharing more, holds her as they both cry, and promises to help replace those painful memories with happier ones. The episode closes by teasing a Karwa Chauth special.
