Overview

Northside ISD’s magnet schools offer middle- and high-school students a rigorous education focused on specialized fields, including agricultural science, engineering, law, medicine, communications, and cybersecurity. The programs help students explore potential careers—including STEM and construction management—while building skills for college and work.

Student Experience

Magnet students can also take part in the broader school experience through sports, theater, band, and other extracurricular activities. One student describes the transition from middle school as an adjustment but says they would not change the experience, citing the friendships they made.
