iOS 27.2 Beta 4: What’s New
Changes and fixes
- Apple Music: The app icon now uses a black-and-white design. In Light Mode, it has a white background with a black music note. Bottom menu highlights are blue, and the monochrome styling also appears on Library items such as playlists and artists.
- Health app: The redesigned Health app shown in an earlier beta has been removed from Beta 4. Apple says it will be available later this year. Health data from the beta remains on the device and can be viewed in Settings.
- Privacy and Security: The Impersonation Risk Detection icon has been slightly updated.
- Widget bug fix: The issue that could make the Home Screen flicker when moving a widget between pages—sometimes requiring a reboot—is reported as fixed.
- Still unresolved: The wallpaper-dimming bug remains.
- Performance: The presenter describes overall performance as good.
