The Boys – Final Season Trailer | Prime Video

Final-season setup

Homelander is hellbent on finding V1 — Vought’s original Compound V — because, if he gets it, he could become effectively immortal. The Boys scramble to stop him by any means: their plan is to unleash a virus while it still works and “kill every f***ing Supe on the planet” before Homelander can secure forever-power.

Trailer tone and imagery

The trailer mixes religious and cult imagery with swaggering menace and the series’ trademark dark humor. Homelander talks about preparing America for his “ascension” and offers “oblivion” to his enemies, while quips and brash lines puncture the tension.

“I’m preparing America for my ascension.” “Oblivion.”

Examples of the trailer’s swagger and comic tone appear alongside its menace: “That’s Beta Male s***, bro! Noir, am I right?”

Tense, shocking personal beats

The trailer also drops several surprising, intimate moments that raise the emotional stakes and hint at twisted family dynamics:

• “Did you f*** me? Is this some kind of incest thing?”
• “I need you, father”
• A teasing, eerie moment when someone realizes a usually silent Supe can speak: “You guys are friends? You talk!”

Overall promise

The trailer promises apocalyptic stakes, savage humor, and twisted loyalty/family dynamics — building toward a climactic showdown between Homelander and the Boys.
