The Morning After the Wedding

The morning after their wedding, Kismat’s mother insists that Kismat take Siddhi to visit her family for a post-wedding ritual. Kismat has an important work meeting, and her mother has also decreed that she must stay home for 101 days. The household teases the newlyweds, with Kashish joking about what might have happened between them. Kismat tries to brush off the comments, but she is visibly moved when Siddhi appears in a red sari, wearing sindoor and a mangalsutra.

A Difficult Visit

Kismat brings sweets, fruit, and clothes for the children when they visit Siddhi’s family, but leaves quickly, hurt by the knowledge that Siddhi loves someone else.

Meanwhile, Siddhi’s friend Payal confronts her for waiting until after the wedding to tell Kismat the truth. Siddhi admits that she kissed Kismat while drunk but insists she cannot return Kismat’s feelings. Payal reminds her how deeply this must have hurt Kismat—and how unfair it was to let her enter the marriage without knowing.

Keeping Her Distance

Back home, Kismat tries to keep her distance while continuing to look after Siddhi. She offers Siddhi the balcony for private calls with Kashish. Later, when Kismat’s mother learns that Kismat has not eaten, she asks Siddhi to bring her dinner. Kismat initially refuses but gives in when Siddhi becomes upset.

Their feelings remain painfully mismatched: Siddhi feels compassion for Kismat, while Kismat tries to hide how much she cares.

A Quiet Confession

Unable to sleep on the sofa, Kismat moves to the cold balcony rather than share a bed with Siddhi. When she returns, she gently brushes Siddhi’s hair away and kisses her hand, whispering that she loves her. She is careful not to cross a line, knowing Siddhi loves someone else.

Siddhi wakes and realizes how selfless Kismat has been, leaving her feeling guilty and heartbroken. The episode ends by teasing the next day’s first-kitchen ritual and the secrets it may uncover.
