Main tips and strategy

• Filter for useful recipes: In the crafting panel, select “Gain experience” to see recipes that can still provide crafting XP. Recipe colors indicate how useful they are for leveling. Stop mass-crafting when a recipe’s color changes and it gives little experience.
• Use a crafting booster: Check your bank or inventory for a booster, and activate it before crafting to improve your leveling gains.
• Check material costs: Start with materials you already own. If you need more, right-click a material to check its Marketplace price before buying. Avoid spending gold or silver you can’t spare.
• Use Discovery for larger XP gains: Combine compatible components and materials in the Discovery panel to reveal new recipes. A discovery can give much more XP than repeatedly crafting a low-value item, especially when the recipe’s level is close to your current crafting level.
• Keep recipes appropriate to your level: A low-level discovery gives less XP when your crafting level is much higher than the recipe’s level. After each discovery, check the available options again; your level may have advanced past some recipes.
• When Discovery runs out of options:
  • Return to the crafting panel and make components highlighted as usable.
  • Craft the matching inscriptions or other required materials.
  • Combine the components and materials in Discovery to reveal items and earn more XP.
  • If a recipe is still unavailable, try other compatible components; some discoveries require a specific combination.
• Use spare materials sensibly: If an inexpensive recipe uses materials you already have, crafting several can provide steady XP. Stop when the recipe’s color indicates it has become less rewarding, then look for another discovery or recipe.
