Why the Nothing CMF Phone 1 is a Game Changer.

The Nothing CMF Phone 1 is a budget-friendly phone priced at £200 or $250 that offers a unique ecosystem of accessories designed specifically for the phone. The phone comes with multiple cases, a card wallet, buds Pro 2, and watch Pro 2, all featuring a tasteful design despite the slightly cheap feel of the materials. The phone stands out for its customizable back plates that can be easily swapped out, allowing for personalization and repairability. The phone features a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 5,000 mAh battery, and runs on Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14, offering a light software skin with 2 years of major Android updates. The phone's performance is decent, with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, suitable for everyday use and gaming with some compromises. The phone's camera system includes a main camera and an assist camera, providing detailed and sharp photos with good dynamic range and decent 4K video quality. However, the color science, portrait mode, zooming, and lack of an ultra-wide camera are noted as areas for improvement. Overall, the Nothing CMF Phone 1 is praised as a highly recommendable phone for its price, offering a complete package that feels like a steal.
