Alleged Fraudulently Issued Land Titles in Taguig

Sen. Ping (Lacson) says that four parcels of allegedly illegally reclaimed land in Taguig City have been linked to fraudulently issued land titles. The reported coverage is said to total more than 38 hectares.

In addition, four additional titled lots are reportedly found in the Land Registration Authority (LRA) digital records, but were not previously accounted for.

Investigation into the Origin and History of Titles

Lacson’s office (via Nixon, as referenced in the subtitles) is investigating the origins and history of these titles in the LRA to determine how they were allegedly obtained and to identify any parties that may be responsible.

The results of the investigation are expected to be submitted to the Ombudsman fact-finding team for further action.
