Creating a Café Logo in CorelDRAW

The tutorial demonstrates how to create a simple café or coffee-shop logo using a small number of vector shapes.

Creative Process and Techniques

• Draw a precise circle by holding Ctrl. Create a second circle and center it using the C and E alignment shortcuts.
• Use circles to build the coffee-cup elements, combining or cutting overlapping shapes with Back minus Front.
• Create the cup handle from a circular shape, then use the Contour effect to add thickness. Break the contour apart when you need to edit the resulting shapes.
• Add a saucer and other cup details, centering elements or adjusting them manually for visual balance.
• Draw decorative coffee steam with the Artistic Media tool and increase its thickness using the outline controls.
• Duplicate small decorative elements with Ctrl+D. The tutorial also uses stars and a blend effect to add ornamentation.
• Apply a warm palette, especially brown and cream. Make selected circles transparent or place them behind other objects to refine the design.
• Add the café name around the circular logo using Text → Fit Text to Path. Use the text-mirroring controls to make lettering on the lower arc readable.

The finished logo can be customized with a business name or additional details.
