Mantra Diksha by Om Swami | How We Met Him | Diary of a Devotee | Dipti Om & Amit Om Sanghavi

Summary

Deepti Om and Amit Om Sanghavi recall discovering Om Swami through his book If Truth Be Told. They visited the ashram in 2015 and met him during its early, modest days. They describe feeling an immediate connection with him and being struck by his warmth and presence.

Their memories include simple living arrangements, shared meals, retreats, and Swamiji’s efforts to make room for their daughter at a children’s retreat. They also recount receiving mantra initiation from him. Deepti says she did not initially realize that the blessing and mantra she received during a meeting were an initiation; she understood its significance later.

The couple describes their retreat experiences as personally meaningful and remembers the teachings as relevant to everyday life.
