Monster Hunter Wilds — 1st Anniversary / Ver. 1.041 update (Producer Tsujimoto)

Producer Tsujimoto thanks players for nearly one year of play (release: Feb 28, 2025) and presents final update information and a promotional video.

This update (Ver. 1.041) coincides with the game’s first anniversary. A one‑month in‑game anniversary celebration will run after the update.
Anniversary features include:
- A login bonus item pack.
- Re‑broadcasts of previously released seasonal events on a one‑week rotation.
- Tournament venue ceremonies available in‑game.
Final update information and a promotional video were presented by Producer Tsujimoto.

New and returning high‑difficulty quests are being added, including several 10‑star event quests:
- A 10‑star event quest featuring the veteran king Arshito.
- New Star 10 quests for the four previously released Arch‑Tempered Kings.
- 10‑star quests can drop an Old Amulet that has a high chance to yield 5 Reald stones (valuable crafting/resource drop).
- A new free, very challenging 10‑star Arch‑Tempered “Great Consecutive Hunting” quest.
- Archibert is released as the final free challenge veteran quest.
Some event quests will be made available for download starting Feb 18; additional quests and details will be announced later (the shown list is not final).

Weapon charm design contest:
- The winning design will be released as an event reward.
- The 16 Best Work Award winners’ names will be posted on the staff page.
Collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 3 (release March 13):
- Side mission with Royal Air Rudy: rewards include the Rudy Alpha cosplay equipment and Rudy‑themed charms.
- Side mission with Support Hunter Naria: an alternative event quest that rewards charms.
Limited‑time “least‑used monster” quest:
- Targets monsters you personally have hunted the least (based on your play data).
- These monsters are adjusted to be more responsive/challenging and offer varied rewards.
Event quest to obtain Rabikada‑related rewards (subtitle wording was unclear).
Additional event quests and details will be revealed in future announcements.

Ongoing quality improvements have continued since Title Update 4; more fixes and improvements are planned in Ver. 1.041.

Log in during the anniversary month to claim the special item pack.
Play the new and re‑broadcast seasonal events to farm festival and exclusive rewards.
Prepare for high difficulty:
- New 10‑star and Arch‑Tempered quests are designed to be challenging.
- Bring optimized gear, decorations/charms, and coordinate with teammates for successive fights.
Try the limited‑time “least‑used monster” quest to obtain materials and rewards you may be missing.
