Overview

The Legend of Evie

Andrea shares the legend of Evie: long ago in Clearspring, a troll stole all the water, drying up the spring, ruining crops, and stripping the village of hope. Evie refuses to give up and searches the forest until she finds the troll’s cavern and an underground lake.

She attempts to break the dam holding the water back. When pulling doesn’t work, she switches to pushing—sweeping the troll away in the process. The legend ends with a heartbreaking moment: Evie can’t get out of the way in time, but the spring suddenly returns to life, rushing faster and faster until it forms a huge heart-shaped lake.
