Exploration

• Their aircraft proves unreliable: its turret is destroyed, and it struggles to reach its intended destination.
• At the first facility, the crew deploys a CDU, a cooling device that chills the area, freezes weaker enemies, and exploits the creatures’ apparent weakness to cold.
• They find ice cylinders and related materials, along with evidence that the enemy was mining ice to fight the creatures. The crew recovers equipment and supplies for later use.
