Episode 90 Recap

Anaya heads to Meera’s village, joking to herself that Meera’s angry face is cute and plotting how she’ll make up with her. Her loud, familiar car horn announces her arrival before she even reaches the house, bringing a smile to Meera’s face. Nearby women tease Anaya about coming to see her wife. Anaya arrives with gifts and treats, saying she wants to celebrate the upcoming festival with the family.

Meera is asleep with their baby, so Anaya sneaks in and kisses them both, promptly waking Meera. But Meera is still hurt: she feels Anaya scolded her and then failed to comfort her. Anaya apologizes repeatedly, only to be told, “I don’t want to listen.” Their quarrel is full of affectionate bickering: Anaya offers gifts as a peace offering, while Meera refuses them and tells her to take the baby and go.

At a village gathering, Anaya tries to enjoy the Garba and Dandiya festivities but keeps wishing Meera were there. A friend points out that couples argue, but storming off to one’s parents’ home is another matter. Meanwhile, Meera admits to her mother that she’s angry because Anaya scolded her. Her mother encourages her to forgive Anaya, who hasn’t been eating properly and is clearly missing her.

The episode’s other major comic-romantic thread follows Neha and Latika at home with baby Neeti. Latika admires how caring and capable Neha is, while the two tease each other about making a “cricket team” of children. Their playful flirting is interrupted when Neeti wakes up hungry, giving Neha another affectionate moment with both her partner and the baby.

Eventually, Anaya leaves the festivities and returns to Meera. They share a meal, initially refusing to eat together, but eventually eating from the same plate. Anaya gets emotional and apologizes again. Meera explains that she’s upset because Anaya scolded her in front of others and seemed to love her less. Anaya promises she’ll never raise a hand to her, swearing on their child.

Meera is still not quite ready to declare the argument over, but the two soften and head toward bed together. The narrator signs off by teasing that Meera will eventually forgive Anaya—and that more romance may follow.
