Chelsea Green: Ready to Fight for Rhea Ripley’s “Position”

Chelsea Green says she is ready to fight Rhea Ripley for the “position” of permanent residence. She emphasizes that injuries from her long career—including heart surgery and multiple broken bones (ankle, collarbone, nose, cheekbone, orbital bone, and three broken arms)—haven’t slowed her down.

SummerSlam: A “Career-Defining” Moment

Green recalls that at SummerSlam, she took in “every second” while hanging upside down on top of a ladder. She calls it a career-defining, slow-motion moment, made even more meaningful by her family’s presence in the crowd—especially her husband.

Life With Matt: Public Chemistry and On-Screen Rarity

Green reflects on her personal and professional life with her husband Matt. She describes how rare it felt to finally share the screen together on SmackDown, including backstage footage from Unreal. She also notes that their public relationship makes these kinds of storylines feel “inevitable.”

Evolution of Women’s Wrestling

Green discusses how women’s wrestling has changed since the “Give Divas a Chance” era. She praises the pathway from development—especially NXT—to main-roster success and WrestleMania-level stardom.

She argues that women’s wrestling now matches or surpasses men in both ratings and skill.

Canadian Pride and the Tour Ahead

Green connects her success and identity to being Canadian, citing her Vancouver Island roots. She says Canada “claims” its superstars, and she expresses excitement for the upcoming Canadian tour.

Kevin Owens’ Return and the Changing WWE Roster

She addresses Kevin Owens’ return from a serious neck injury, praising his ability to heal and come back “leveled up.”

She also comments on how the industry’s roster is evolving—welcoming new stars as established legends step aside.

Tour Schedule, Live-Show Excitement, and Tonight’s Gear

Green outlines her tour schedule across Ontario and Alberta, including:

  • Toronto
  • Edmonton
  • Calgary
  • Ottawa

She praises Canadian crowds and teases that anything can happen on live SmackDown/Ra w-style shows.

She ends by saying she’s prepared to protect her orbital bone for tonight, while also showing her bedazzled gear—including a jazz-flute-style case and matching eye patches.
