Radal’s Absence and Burnout

Radal explains that he has been away from the main channel because he is struggling with burnout, stress, and the pressure to make every project perfect.

He previously spent weeks or even months obsessing over details in each main-channel video. He now questions whether that pace is sustainable and says he may need to stop making that kind of highly produced content.

Reviving his second channel gave him a chance to try a more frequent, less elaborate format, but he found himself working even harder: recording videos, managing editors, and then re-editing their finished work.

Radal says he feels persistently stressed and has difficulty stopping work, even when he feels low. Success brings him relief more than happiness. He suspects he may have OCD or a related condition, but has not seen a doctor and does not present this as a diagnosis.

Other Sources of Strain

Work is only part of the pressure. Radal also describes household responsibilities, caring for four cats, helping his girlfriend with some daily tasks, and handling business and bureaucratic matters in Serbia.

He tends to overbuild projects. For example, he spent about a month creating elaborate interactive Twitch overlays and a meme-making website, despite not being a programmer. He used Claude while coding his stream overlays.

Plans for the Channels

Radal plans to return gradually to Austria, likely starting in January. He feels more at home there and expects life to be more stable.

He expects to post on the second channel less often—possibly every two weeks instead of weekly—so he has more time to think about what he makes.

He does not plan to resume labor-intensive edited videos on the main channel. Instead, he hopes to return to posting gradually, including streaming GTA 6 on YouTube and Twitch.
