Episode Summary

Ishani refuses to let the police brush off the case against Raju. Though he has been arrested again, his smug attitude—and his taunt that Vedika herself will come asking for justice—only makes Ishani angrier. She tells Indira ji that she won’t back down, even if pursuing the case puts her own family at risk. When Raju is brought before the court, he receives seven days in remand custody, with evidence suggesting he was part of a group involved in the attack.

Ishani initially keeps the news from Vedika, not wanting to reopen her wounds. But after Raju’s remand is approved, she gently explains that Vedika may need to attend court and promises she won’t face it alone. Still shaken, Vedika agrees to stay at Ishani’s home for safety. Ishani stays close, holding Vedika as she sobs and repeatedly insisting that the attackers—not Vedika—are responsible. The episode ends with the family once again shattered, the absent guards and silent neighbors under scrutiny, and Vedika facing a devastating loss on top of her earlier trauma.
