Legenda Putri Niwer Gading | Dongeng Bahasa Indonesia | Cerita Rakyat dan Dongeng Nusantara

Summary

The Alas kingdom is prosperous under a fair king, but he and the queen are unhappy because they have no heir. After praying for a son, they welcome Amet Muda—only for the king to die soon afterward. His ambitious younger brother takes the throne and, fearing Amet may someday challenge him, drives the queen and her baby from the palace.

Years later, Amet has grown into a kind, hardworking young man who helps his mother sell fish. Merchant Ali recognizes the former queen, buys their entire catch, and discovers that one fish contains golden eggs. The gold gives the family a comfortable home, and Amet shares their newfound wealth with the poor. His success reaches the new king, who sees him as a threat.

The king sends Amet to a haunted island to fetch an ivory coconut, claiming it will cure his sick wife. Amet survives a storm, meets a dragon who knew his late father, and finds the strange coconut tree. Though it looks short, it keeps growing beyond his reach and whips up powerful winds. Amet’s prayers and sincerity finally allow him to pick a coconut. He meets Princess Niwer Gading, who has been waiting for someone to succeed, and she agrees to leave with him once he finishes his errand.

Amet returns safely, and his uncle—ashamed by Amet’s courage and success—recognizes that his nephew deserves the throne. Amet becomes king, then returns to the island to bring Niwer Gading back as his wife.

Standout Moments

• Amet’s playful sales pitch that eating fresh fish makes you smarter.
• The family’s surprise at finding golden eggs inside a fish.
• The deceptively small coconut tree that suddenly towers over Amet.

The video also opens with a Riri subscription appeal and ends with a brief promotion for Game Lab.
