Summary of the Story

The video tells a poignant and humorous story about a female university graduate struggling with unemployment for five years. When a zoo’s lioness dies, the director offers her a unique job: to dress up and act as the lioness to keep visitors entertained. Despite the oddity, she accepts, valuing honest work over pride. She spends her days in the lion’s cage, amusing visitors.

The twist comes when the lion’s cage is accidentally left open, and the lion approaches her—not to attack, but to introduce himself as Khaled, a sociology master’s graduate. This symbolizes the harsh reality that even highly educated individuals end up in unexpected, sometimes degrading jobs.

The story uses humor and irony to highlight the grim prospects for graduates in today’s job market, underscored by the Egyptian saying “Goodbye,” reflecting lost hopes.
