You Hit Level 45 in AION 2… Now What?

AION 2 After Level 45

Reaching level 45 opens up many systems and activities, but the game no longer gives you one clear path to follow. The main advice is to make steady progress without treating every menu, daily, and weekly activity as a mandatory checklist.

Progression Tips

• Start with gear: Upgrade what you can, complete content you already qualify for, and use its rewards to reach the next gear-score tier and unlock more content.
• Don’t overinvest in temporary gear: Early equipment is often replaced quickly. Spend enough to progress, and save major investments for items you expect to keep.
• Treat gear score as a gateway, not the whole picture: It helps unlock content, but skills and permanent systems—including Arcana, Daevanion, pets, Genus, Pantheon, and wings—also add up to meaningful character strength.
• Choose one main goal at a time: For example, work toward a gear-score requirement, a higher expedition tier, or a permanent upgrade. Focus your resources rather than spreading them across many priorities.
• Let your priorities change: As you unlock content and improve your character, different activities and upgrades will become more valuable.

Finding a Routine

You don’t have to complete every daily, weekly, dungeon, PvP activity, or progression task. Missing an activity won’t ruin your long-term progress.

Spend time on content that supports your current goal and matches what you enjoy. PvE-focused players may emphasize gear and expeditions, while PvP-focused players may spend more time in the Abyss and other PvP activities.

Fit the game to the time you have. Some days you may do a lot; other days, a little is enough.

The progression loop is simple: get stronger, unlock harder content, earn better rewards, and grow stronger again. Enjoy the process rather than trying to perfect your routine immediately.
