Recovery and Return to Streaming

Chloe returned to streaming nearly three weeks after major surgery, which had forced her to pause truck driving. The six-hour operation went well, with no complications reported so far, though her recovery has been slow and she is still experiencing pain.

Recovery

She spent seven days in the hospital. For the first several days, she had to remain in bed and needed help with basic care; she was able to take a brief shower on day five. Since returning home, her parents have been bringing her food and helping with cleaning and groceries.

She can now walk more and gradually resume some activities, but she still needs to be careful and avoid heavy lifting. She tries not to take pain medication unless her pain becomes significant.

Work and Streaming

Chloe hopes to return to truck driving in September, depending on her recovery. For now, she plans to ease back into gaming and chatting streams, and still hopes to do a Lego stream.

Spending weeks mostly resting has been difficult, so streaming again gives her a change of pace. While recovering at home, she has been rewatching The Walking Dead and watching other streamers.

Travel and Trucking

A colleague drove her truck while she was in the hospital, including taking it to Tomorrowland. Chloe hopes a November trip to TwitchCon in San Diego will be her first travel after surgery. She previously visited Los Angeles in December.
