A Clever Dog Defends Home On Christmas! Can He Outsmart Bumbling Thieves?!

Summary

A family’s Christmas plans go sideways when mischievous dog Bone gets blamed for wrecking the tree and opening presents. His dad decides Bone can’t come to Grandma’s, so Bone is left at a ramshackle kennel run by Anthony—better known as Triple A. The dog-loving owner offers a confusing discount and boasts that his surveillance cameras mean Bone will be “on TV.”

At the kennel, Bone meets Cupcake, a dog who once watched helplessly as burglars robbed his home and now thinks he has lost his “bite.” Meanwhile, Columbus realizes that the family’s house may be in danger: a creepy postman with a fish-and-body-spray scent has been casing it. Columbus breaks out to warn Bone, with help from a chain of unlikely companions—including Santa and Diesel, a German Shepherd with an alarming enthusiasm for security work.

The thieves arrive expecting an easy Christmas haul, but Bone turns the empty house into a trap-filled obstacle course. Slippery floors, flying objects, hot surprises, and other improvised tricks leave the burglars repeatedly stuck, sprawled, or arguing about what just hit them. Their attempts to bring in extra help only make things worse. The dogs’ antics are matched by goofy bits, from a wildly implausible story about killer poodles to the claim that Rudolph’s nose—and the reindeer’s ability to fly—came from growing up beside a nuclear power plant.

After Bone and Columbus reunite, they find their “bite”—not fierce jaws, but loyalty to the family they love. Together, they take on the burglars, whose plans collapse in a final round of slapstick chaos. The family returns, welcomes both dogs home, and discovers that the house—and Christmas—have been saved, even if the place is a mess. A fresh snowfall and a surprise family reunion make it a happy holiday after all.
