Overview

Highlights and notable moments

• Progress: Two modules from the next big structure were built and the engine block is now complete. There are still roughly 50–53 pages of instructions to go; the last book covers the final big phases.
• Parts drama: A small but important red “9” brick went missing despite searching under the table, in bags, under the model, and even asking his daughter. He improvised with a replacement and hopes nothing else is missing in the final model.
• Motor/test pieces: An initial bag contained parts for a motor test jig (small suspension clamps and a black/gray brick). He’s unsure where that black/gray brick ended up after reusing it elsewhere.
• Cable management: He plans to route all cables through the indicated channel and pull them out at the bottom — fingers crossed everything fits neatly.
• Missing pieces overall: Aside from pins and tiny parts, this is the first time a larger, important component was missing, which was particularly annoying.
