Iris and Sitara

Sitara stays by Iris’s side as she recovers from a fever, comforting her with a hug and a kiss. Ruby walks in on them cuddling and jokes that the hospital should try the same “cure” on its patients. Iris is happy to stay close to Sitara, and Ruby teases her about enjoying the attention.

Ruby asks Iris about Rose, and Iris quickly realizes Ruby remembers Rose’s name very well. After hearing that Ruby and Rose spent a stormy night together when Rose’s car broke down, Iris warns Ruby to keep her distance from Rose.

Once Ruby leaves, Sitara stays with the sleepy Iris and brings her water when she coughs. In the morning, Sitara brings her breakfast in bed. Iris pretends her hand hurts so Sitara will feed her, then says sweetly that she wishes Sitara would always cook for her and feed her.

Ruby and Rose

Ruby gets an early-morning surprise when Rose visits her home. Ruby’s mother explains that Rose is the daughter of a friend from the UK and insists Ruby show her around the city. Rose offers to keep Ruby company, much to Ruby’s discomfort. When Ruby’s mother assigns her the job, Ruby spits out her coffee in shock and tries to bargain her way out of it.

Ruby eventually agrees after securing her mother’s black card, then takes Rose for a very fast—and deliberately dramatic—drive. Rose isn’t impressed until Ruby pulls off a sudden drift.

At the mall, Ruby tries to show Rose around by marching in and out of shops. Rose turns the tables by threatening to tell Ruby’s mother about their intimate, drunken encounter. Ruby snatches Rose’s phone and reluctantly gives in. Rose gets a turn at the wheel, ending the outing on a flirtatious note.
