Episode 27 Recap

Aaradhya is still in the hospital after the ordeal at the centre, but the deepest wound comes from home: her father burns her belongings and announces that, to him, his daughter is dead. Her mother can only watch and weep.

At the hospital, Swastika stays beside Aaradhya through the night. When Aaradhya finally breaks down, she cries and screams for hours, asking how her father could disown her simply because she loves a girl. Swastika holds her and helps her let out her grief.

Rida later joins them. In a brief attempt to lighten the mood, she tells Aaradhya that Swastika once mistakenly thought they were in love, though Rida had explained that they see each other as sisters.

The police question Aaradhya about what happened at the centre. She refuses to file a report against her father but gives them details about the centre. After three days, she is discharged. She insists that Rida take her home rather than letting Swastika accompany her.

The homecoming becomes the episode’s most shocking moment. Neighbours whisper that Aaradhya is alive while a shraddh ceremony is being performed for her inside the house. Her father continues the ritual and tells Aaradhya’s mother not to interrupt it. Aaradhya is too devastated to speak or even approach her parents, so Rida and her mother take her away.

At Rida’s home, Aaradhya sits completely numb, barely responding. Swastika rushes over after hearing what happened and finds Aaradhya gripping her hand so tightly that her nails have broken the skin. She turns Aaradhya toward her and silently hugs her. The episode ends with Aaradhya still unable to speak, held in Swastika’s embrace.
