Three days later, Baniya is feeling well enough to return to work, but Kayra insists she rest. Baniya jokes that Kayra isn’t her mother, then bargains for permission to go out the next evening. Dadi backs her up, and Chahat gently urges Baniya to eat breakfast before leaving.

At work, Baniya calls Nandini. Their caring conversation turns flirtatious: Nandini admits she can’t concentrate on studying, and Baniya teases her about where her mind is. They promise to talk again that night. After the call, Baniya catches herself thinking about Nandini and scolds her own heart for falling for someone when it could lead to trouble.

Chahat spots a white outfit and says Kayra would look cute in it. Kayra agrees to try it, touched by Chahat’s suggestion.

The bigger surprise is Chahat’s choice of food. When Kayra suggests a restaurant, Chahat asks for golgappas instead—and insists they be from a roadside stall, not a fancy shop. Kayra worries about hygiene but gives in when she sees Chahat’s excitement. Chahat playfully persuades her to try one, and Kayra admits she loves it. Their simple snack becomes the happiest part of the outing.

On the drive home, Kayra holds Chahat’s hand and says that making time for her is one of her responsibilities. Chahat bristles at the word “responsibility,” and Kayra teases her for getting angry. Back at home, Baniya jokes that they’ve been on a date, prompting Kayra to tell her to stop talking nonsense.
